Nonsuch Players a Malta based Drama Group was formed in October 2003 by Ms. Sue Fletcher, with the aim of offering one-act plays in English while raising money for charity orginazations. The actors and crew do not receive any money and the player's age ranges from 18 to 80. The plays and costume are usually in baroque period and are performed in historical sites. Performance take place in June and November. Nonsuch Players first performance was in November of 2003 with the play "Shakespeare in a Garden" Plays performed since 2003: 1) "Shakespeare in a Garden" November 2003 by William Shakespeare. 2) "Man of Destiny" May 2004 by G.B. Shaw. 3) "Man of Destiny" November 2004 by G.B. Shaw by general request. 4) "Othello" May 2005 by William Shakespeare 5) "Nelson" A Death of an Admirial. October 2005 by Sue Fletcher. 6) "Don Giovanni" The Play. May 2006 by Sue Fletcher. 7) "A Mermaid In Malta" November 2006 by Sue Fletcher. 8) " A Brief Encounter" June 2007 by Sue Fletcher. 9) " The Countess Sarkozy and November 2007 the Huzzar." by Sue Fletcher. 10) "Cyrano Le Mystere" November 2008 by Sue Fletcher. 11) "Androcles & the Lion" June 2009 12) "Eleanore of Aquitaine" November 2009 "L'Engima" by Liz Dore' Next Production: June 2010. |
